PwC Advisory’s Managed Services is growing and we are looking for a talented manager with experience in transformation and day-to-day operations to join our team.

What you’ll learn and do

As a manager, you will drive your project and your team to help clients respond to challenges. Next to your project delivery, you will also help us to grow and to develop the Managed Services team and offering. You will be involved in business development activities.

Your main responsibilities:

  • With your combined experience of transformation and day-to-day operations, you define the best operational solutions (including tactical organisation, resources, processes and technologies) to help our client reach their objectives.

  • You implement the solution by setting-up the operational team, the processes and the tools.

  • You design and implement new operational processes, KPIs, reportings and provide/train resources that will deliver these processes for the client.

  • You provide guidance in the selection and implementation of tools that support these operational activities (e.g. procurement systems).

  • Your team is responsible for performing the operational services according to the service level agreement and to continuously look for improvements in the day-to-day tasks.

  • You ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

  • You work as a team player and focus on the well-being of the entire team.

  • You play an instrumental role in providing expertise on operational solutions.

  • You provide guidance to your team members to ensure that they are working towards a common goal, and in collaboration with the clients’ teams.

  • You play a key role in building long-term relationships with our clients.

  • You help us develop compelling proposals to position our services internally and externally.

  • Your commercial and relationships skills, combined with your expertise, will help to sell our services to current and potential clients.

  • You maintain cutting-edge knowledge in day-to-day operations and in transformation, coupled with expertise in other domains (e.g. supply chain or customer service) and/or industry (e.g. pharmaceutical).

As part of the PwC community, you will also have to focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement in order to create an uninterrupted value stream. You will ensure high-quality service by the team and continuously look for ways to improve their daily tasks.

Typical projects are:

  • Running customer operations in a digital way- We help our clients to grow their sales and customer activities in a digital way by defining, implementing and running a full operational solution combining experience, processes, methodologies and digital tools to manage their customer orders, their customer support and their customer onboarding activities.

  • Running supply chain operations- We help our clients to grow and strengthen their supply chain operations by defining, implementing and running a full operational solution combining experience, processes, methodologies and digital tools to manage their production planning and their logistics activities.

  • Running purchasing operations- We help our clients to grow and strengthen their purchasing operations by defining, implementing and running a full operational solution combining experience, processes, methodologies and digital tools to manage their sourcing activities and their procure-to-pay operations.

  • Running master data operations- We help our clients to grow and strengthen their master data operations by defining, implementing and running a full operational solution combining experience, processes, methodologies and digital tools to manage the creation and the maintenance of their material, service, vendor and customer data.

  • Running project support operations- We help our clients to grow and strengthen their transformation program by defining, implementing and running project support offices combining experience, processes, methodologies and digital tools to manage all project and programme support activities.

Who you are

  • Master’s degree in economics, engineering, business administration or management sciences or equivalent experience

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in day-to-day operations, continuous improvement, transformation, preferably in consultancy

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in business development

  • Excellent project management, presentation and communication skills

  • Ambition to work internationally on projects

  • Team player mentality and collaborative mindset

  • Analytical approach

  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French

  • Flexible, pragmatic, resilient and innovative in problem-solving and issue resolution

  • Respectful and open to all cultures and backgrounds

  • Interest in web-based technologies

  • Keen to help PwC clients have the best possible customer journey

  • Curious, keen to learn and develop your knowledge and skills
