To support our growth ambition, the Advisory practice is looking to attract a newManagement Consultant to strengthen the team with a strong focus on the Insurance Sector.

What you’ll do:

• You understand customer needs, you translate them into solutions, leveraging your expertise of our capabilities, our offerings and input from our extensive partner network.

• You actively contribute in consultancy projects in the Insurance sector.

• You engage with existing and new clients to support our growth ambitions and you actively position DXC as trusted advisor towards clients.

• You assist in developing solutions that address business problems, needs and opportunities in the Insurance sector, in a manner consistent with DXC’s strategic and business goals

• You engage with existing and new clients to support our growth ambitions and you actively position DXC as trusted advisor towards senior client executives.
• You develop solutions that address business problems, needs and opportunities in the Insurance sector, in a manner consistent with DXC’s strategic and business goals
• For key clients and lighthouse projects, you contribute to delivery activities from consultancy to hands-on delivery.
• You manage and develop your assigned opportunities and regularly provide status updates to the offering leadership.
• You collaborate with both internal/external experts, to anticipate customer needs, to facilitate the definition and development of the solution, as well as with project managers to ensure effective and efficient development, delivery, deployment, operation and support of these solutions.
• You collaborate with account teams to meet or exceed revenue, customer satisfaction and shared goals

What we expect from you:

• At least 4 years’ experience in the insurance sector

• You are familiar with the different insurance products and processes (Life or Non-Life)

• You have a background from working for Insurance companies (Case manager, Back-office Manager, Product Manager, Application Manager, Process Analyst, Solution Architect, etc.)

• You have experience with implementing new processes, or new products

• You have certifications in Project Management (Prince 2, Agile, …)

• Experience as People manager is a plus

• Experience in one of the following domains is welcome: taxation law, actuarial work, group life insurances, …

• You have an affinity with the IT sector

• Good problem solving and critical thinking.

• Some knowledge of understanding and modelling the client’s business and processes.

• Focus on the goals with attention to details and the quality of deliverables.

• Good communicator & independent worker, but also a team player

• Cool and calm in a high-demanding environment

• Preferably a Dutch native speaker, also proficient in French and English
