General Summary:

With a principal focus on Europe, and from time to time other regions as required, your role will be to manage and execute in coordination with WW Real Estate & Corporate Services team all functions related to real estate and facilities support, insurance risk management, overseeing European Real Estate portfolio and other projects under the direction of the VP, WW Real Estate & Corporate Services.

As Manager of Europe Real Estate & Corporate Services you will direct, lead, coach and develop other team members, both direct and indirect reports. You will have a significant interaction with senior operating and financial personnel across multiple countries, each with unique processes, operations and financial/economic decision inputs.

You will cooperate with multiple countries’ local counter parties and service providers, each with their own unique processes and regulations. Such interaction with financial and operating personnel will include comprehending and improving upon complex cross-functional business processes, standardizing procedures / policies and effectively training related personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage various office and location support activities
  • Advise and decide on office lease matters , including sub tenancy agreements and related matters, in coordination with the VP, WW Real Estate
  • Capture lease agreement data-points and make ready for use in analysis, planning and project management
  • Manage in-house and contractor personnel who carry out the process fulfilling the obligations of the lease agreements
  • Act as catalyst to improve coordination of best practices across the running of all European facilities, office and other administrative services
  • Assist VP WW Real Estate in reviewing workplace strategy and practices across Europe and implementation of workplace change initiatives
  • Hold the responsibility for Europe Corp Services cost budgets
  • Assist the department head in identifying information for use in metrics , business modeling, cost avoidance and savings
  • Interact closely with country managers and finance directors, as well as with Corporate Services functional heads
  • Ensure support in compliance with health & safety legislation
  • Support the maintenance & communication of Global Workplace Guidelines and Design Standards
  • Participate in and manage specific Real Estate or Facilities projects

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

The above requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to succeed.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Possess experience in corporate real estate services management, facility management services is an advantage
  • Experience working with a cross-border scope.
  • Able to learn fast and work autonomously.
  • Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.
  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
