Medical Science Liaison - new fertility product

For one of our biopharmaceutical clients we are looking for a profile to be responsible for the medical and scientific support of key opinion leaders and customers to lay the foundation of business achievements. It concerns a new fertility product so you can support launches and look forward to new products rather than just maintaining a portfolio. Hence you will be in a very interesting position with also some home working flexibility.

Responsibilities:
Works with the Medical Affairs Manager, Reproductive Health, Fertility Business Unit and commercial colleagues to ensure alignment and consistency in strategy and tactics.
In cooperation with the Medical Affairs Manager, Reproductive Health, IITs and other local research and ensure that proposals are aligned with medical objectives within the company locally and globally.
Ensures that planned local medical activities are transferred to physicians by sales representatives across the cluster.
Provides cross-functional support for Market Access activities.
Monitors competitor activities.
Complies with all GCP, company policies and procedures, and all relevant laws and regulations.
Liaises and supports the development of key and regional opinion leaders (KOL/ROL e.g., Leader of relevant university hospitals).
Develops and executes plans to build and maintain strong medical relationships, to expand research, advisory and educational partnership opportunities.
Provides high quality medical and scientific support/communications to internal and external customers (e.g., advisory board meetings, regional training courses/workshops together with KOL/ROL, support of speakers with presentations and literature research)
Maintains an elevated level of scientific and technical expertise in therapeutic areas. Develops and increases knowledge of medical literature. Prepares and presents critical reviews of scientific publications and congresses, internally and externally.
Completes necessary documentation to ensure knowledge preservation (e.g., CRM reports). Uses necessary tools to develop and follow up on strategic measures (project plans).

Requirements:
Scientific degree
Initial experience as in Medical Affairs of as Medical Science Liaison within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry OR experience Clinical Research but with good/relevant scientific background
Fluent level of French, Dutch and English
Experience in fertility, maternal health or women’s health is not necessary but it’s a plus
