The purpose of the role

The PI Label Specialist role is to create product labels, pallet labels conform to European legislation and customer requirements, centralized processes for all 4 European sites based in Herentals.

Responsibilities
  • Applying standardized GF European labelling strategy for all customer items.
  • Creation and maintenance of docentric templates to meet customer, business and legislative requirements.
  • Associating templates with packed item products for each customer.
  • Generating required technical data for each product manufactured on all 4 sites required to enable production.
  • -Entering product specific technical data for each customer in D365 that will appear on the customers various label formats.
  • Including:
    • Ingredient list
    • Allergens
    • Nutritionals
    • DFU
    • Storage conditions
    • Bar coding
    • Shelf life
    • Ensuring the produced labels are legally compliant B2B and/or B2C.
    • Managing 3rd party translation requirements of non-standard languages, eg Arabic, Russian, Portuguese…
    • Adopt training in High level of Docentric and D365 at Griffith.
    • Provide expert capabilities for the business in Docentric and D365 related to labels.
    • Capability of demonstrating creative solutions and professional designs for labelling.
    • Creation and maintenance of training instructions, business processes and management systems from customer request to label application.


    Requirements
    • Degree or Equivalent in relevant area eg Food, Nutrition.
    • Good Ability in Microsoft Office, Good Keyboard Skills; Ability to adapt to new software.
    • Experience in exact matching role not necessary as full in house training given.
    • Excellent ability to work unsupervised and proactively.
    • Good ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines.
    • Ability to coordinate with other departments.
    • Good communication skills with internal contacts. Clear thinking and meticulous, with good interpretive skills.
    • English Fluency, second language a benefit
