This new Health Care Company will be a leading global diversified health technology company with:

We expect the creation of the two companies will be completed by the end of 2023. For now, we will continue to operate as one global company. This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company”.
This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) Plant Manager (m/w/*), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Plant Manager and most senior on-site leader of a 2,000 square meter medical device manufacturing facility. Products manufactured support KCI’s product portfolio. All products are FDA medical device class II and are regulated by markets served.
  • Position spans responsibility for regulatory compliance, quality, financial performance, production performance, sub-contractor management and strategic development and implementation.
  • EHS Lead for the Plant
  • Industrial Hygiene Coordinator for the Plant
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Fundamental Experience at a senior level in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Experience in exporting medical device products.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Capable of working efficiently within a changing business environment.
  • Ability to delegate work, manage priorities, make decisions and deliver high quality work on-time.
  • Working knowledge of profit & loss, cash flow, balance sheet and capital accounts.
  • Highly analytical with an ability to both present and interpret complex business scenarios and data.
  • Problem solver
  • Good knowledge on EHS
  • Ability to manage a team working within a matrix management environment
  • Experience of all aspects of people management - objective setting, performance reviews, salary planning, performance management, etc.
  • High proficiency in both written and spoken English essential.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Chemical degree “preferred”or Mechanical Engineering
