UNILIN produces laminate, engineered parquet and luxury vinyl flooring under the Quick-Step and Pergo brand as well as wood-based panels (particle board, MDF), decorative panels, roof systems and insulation boards. UNILIN employs 5.000 people at 20 production sites worldwide. UNILIN has a turnover of 1,658 billion euros.

Unilin flooring is heavily investing in digital transformation within our Laminate factory in Wielsbeke. These activities are very successful and they will allow us to continue to maintain market leadership in product innovation and quality. We therefore have plans to expand this digital transformation; on one side within Laminate beyond our site in Wielsbeke to our other production sites globally, and on the other side to our other flooring categories Vinyl and Wood.

To lead this expansion Unilin Flooring is seeking a qualified candidate for PO Digital Operations. As PO you are the owner of the digital transformation vision, its strategy and agenda within Operations. You decide on the budget and backlog of product priorities, and will have to design the future governance structure cross categories, locations and expertises.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be
  • Grow the Digital Operations team with Lead Product Owners and their development teams to deliver the product backlogs. This across all 3 Unilin Flooring categories (laminate, vinyl, wood) or production sites globally.
  • Ensure products are delivered according to KPI’s, but also successfully adopted by all involved, from management to operators on the floor.
  • Manage various stakeholders such as General Management, Production owners, Process experts, Engineering and IT in different categories and business units.
  • Lead the quarterly Digital Operations Board with top management to get alignment on your mid- to long term Digital Agenda.
  • Build an eco-systems with external partners to accelerate backlog delivery thanks to external expertise.
  • Inspire and motivate your team and the broader organisation with your digital transformation agenda.

You will be based in Wielsbeke, reporting to the Digital Transformation Officer.

PROFILE
  • Experience in Manufacturing of 5 to 10 years. Experience within change adoption is considered as a big plus.
  • Digital is in your blood. You have passion on how is transforming the world around us.
  • You are IT and Data savvy, and believe data analytics will be the game changer within our transformation.
  • Safety in production is not questionable for you; a safe production environment is the first thing that matters.
  • You have experience in the Agile product delivery approach, the sprint cycle process and change management to initiate this within new teams.
  • A team player that loves to work with passionate people. You believe that diversity is a strength that brings out the best plans thanks to different points of view. You understand cultural differences and thrive in an international environment.
  • You have a broad external network in the field of digital operations which allow you to tap in to expertise, innovation, and the latest insights.
  • You have a ‘can-do’ attitude and deliver against promise. You constantly challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. Other languages are a nice to have.
