The Chemours Company headquartered in Wilmington, DE has a Product Stewardship and Regulatory position available in Wilmington, Delaware (optional locations are Mechelen, Belgium and Geneva, Switzerland). This is a key role within the Company and the Titanium Technologies business. This position will report to the Global Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs Manager for Titanium Technologies (TT).
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Provides global coordination and drives projects and processes that are safe, legal and trusted
  • Leads product line and business level product stewardship assessments to detect emerging issues, confirm product and raw material compliance, support Corporate Responsibility Commitment goals, evaluates New Product Development (NPD) processes and provide guidance in all Management of Change (MOC) decisions
  • Engages in external communications for product stewardship specific issues in response to customer inquiries and ensures a consistent customer interface experiences across all regions
  • Supports global product stewardship team to assess risks and opportunities and potential impact on product line strategy. Champions issue management using internal processes and procedures to give a complete assessment to drive decision making and business strategy
  • Supports regional product stewards, regulatory experts and sustainability teams to ensure that compliance on regulatory and voluntary standards is fully integrated into growth projects including product development, business initiatives and market assessments
  • Proactively improves business understanding of evolving product stewardship and sustainability topics as well as global regulatory requirements and chemical management schemes
