This is a hybrid role, based in our Zaventem, Belgium office and your home-office. Business travelling within Belgium is required.As a Project Manager you will be the key person, responsible for multiple projects for all projects stages. You coordinate the work for the team of (Lead) Project Engineers and subcontractors. After a thorough training and familiarization period, you will be given the following responsibilities.
  • Coordinating all operational activities related to the realization of the project.
  • Monitoring the budgets (cost price monitoring, profitability monitoring and guarantees).
  • The planning and follow-up of the work to ensure the desired deadline.
  • Monitoring safety during the execution of the projects.
  • The project documentation: making all documentation and technical specifications available to the parties involved and following up on correct compliance.
  • Maintaining technical-commercial relationships with customers in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
  • Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks.
  • Managing and motivating a project team, composed of project engineers and subcontractors.

Your background
  • Technical education (preferably in electrical/energy engineering).
  • More than 5 years of experience in Project Management or Project Controlling.
  • Experience with project management in the energy sector.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and MS Project and Primavera is beneficial.
  • Ability to read technical drawing and documentations.
  • Good written and spoken command of Dutch, French and English is mandatory.
  • You are a real organizational talent, you have an analytical attitude, and you have good communication skills, commercial insight and negotiation skills.
