Division
The candidate will strengthen the Resolution Planning Team in the Risk Management Division of Euroclear SA/NV and report to the Resolution Team lead. The team is responsible for assisting the Resolution Authorities in the delivery and maintenance of their resolution strategy, while meeting regulatory requirements of all jurisdictions where the company operates.
Role
- Provide expert advice to Risk Management and the business on resolution planning topics
- Drive and fully own, end-to-end, cross-divisional initiatives under the resolution programme, to ensure that they are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Prepare material for, and sometimes present to stakeholders at various levels within the business to either ensure there is sufficient ‘buy-in’ or to share results and findings
- Work in close alignment with other teams across Risk Management and across the wider business
- Be an ambassador for both Risk Management and the resolution team, sharing and developing your knowledge as appropriate
- Helping to ensure close alignment and integration of the findings from the resolution program across other relevant files e.g., the Recovery Plan, the ICLAAP/ILAAP, and the RAF
Technical skills
- At least 5 years of experiences in the financial services industry, including roles with exposure to recovery and/or resolution planning
- Strong financial skills, specifically, knowledge of capital and liquidity concepts
- The ability to read and interpret regulation and relay the key messages including impacts, in an understandable manner
- Knowledge and experience of “Operational Continuity in Resolution” is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills (English)
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to prepare professional presentations distilling complex topics and details is a must
