This position is serving various industries like the oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceutical, power, water industries and food and beverages. The role will involve selling electrical heat tracing and thermal management products, services and projects to End-Users, EPC contractors and other contractors and channels of choice related to these industries.
- Retain top customers and nurture those key relationships. Become a strategic partner and advisor to these key accounts and discovering new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit
- Proactively involved in identifying opportunities and build strong relationships with newly identified customers. Ensure that our coverage (Way to Market :W2M) within Belgium will be improved
- Through a consultative sales approach, deliver additional value and grow scope by providing our customers with specialized solutions and turnkey services. Successfully close the final contract negotiations with customers and act as an executive sponsor during the execution of projects to optimize client relationships, project revenue and profitability
- Promoting new innovative solutions (sometimes upgrading) and products in the market
- Set up account plans for the key accounts (End User – EPC - OEM)
- Identify and qualify project opportunities and capture these in the SalesForce system (SFDC)
- Deliver seminars, trainings and lunch & learn at key customer groups throughout the region on a defined basis
- Focus on positioning Thermal products and service capabilities to all partners of a project at an early stage to become the partner of choice
- Report competitor activities, review regional threats, consider any hurdles to success and propose an action plan to overcome.
- Actively support the BIS (Building Infrastructure Solutions) team with Wholesaler initiative (a.o. joint visits) locally
- Bachelor degree level or equivalent by experience in an Engineering field
- Language skills Dutch native, English and French fluent writing and speaking
- Driving license
- Computer-literate: Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and SFDC (preferred) or CRM system
- Detailed knowledge of one or more of the following fields Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical processing, Power Generation and Utilities industries would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of electrical heat tracing or low voltage electrical power distribution is preferred
