Role Overview:
The Sales Engineer manages projects from start to finish, involving sales, lead generation, technical advising, project coordination, and implementation. They also build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify potential clients in various sectors.
- Assess client needs and present modular building solutions.
- Develop proposals and negotiate contracts.
Technical Consultation:
- Provide technical support and advice to clients.
- Offer tailored solutions that meet client needs and regulations.
- Address technical questions and concerns.
Project Management:
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle.
- Create project plans with timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure project progress.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Keep clients updated on project status.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in sales and project management, preferably in construction or modular buildings.
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English, Dutch, and/or French.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and on-site project management.
