Your workplaceExpertum is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer for an exciting position in the Herentals region. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced automation solutions for various projects.Function
  • Analyzing the automation needs of clients and preparing technical specifications.
  • Designing and programming PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems to control and monitor automated processes.
  • Conducting tests and commissioning of automation systems.
  • Resolving technical issues and providing support for the operational functioning of the systems.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to achieve project objectives.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in automation technologies.
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field.
  • Demonstrable experience in automation engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI interfaces.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and networks.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate in a team.
