The mission of the Senior Commercial Analyst is to support online business expansion by providing in depth financial & commercial analysis and recommendations for growth.

  • Financial & commercial reporting : Responsible to conduct in depth financial & sales analysis to support business strategy & decision-making process, prepare periodic overview of commercial performance & support budgeting exercise with Finance Department.
  • Collaboration & communication : Present insights and actionable recommendations to Senior Management. Lead effective collaboration and implementation of relevant recommendations with cross functional teams including Finance, Marketing, & Filière.
  • Business Performance Improvement : Identify areas for operational improvements & cost savings. Work with different department to implement these.

The Senior Commercial Analyst will actively contribute to improved strategic and operational effectiveness of Delhaize e-commerce business line thanks to data driven decision making process. He will be also instrumental to facilitate effective cross departmental collaboration thanks to strategic insights and clear business recommendations.

  • Advanced Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyse sales & commercial performance of campaigns.
  • Support in commercial and strategic initiatives : Develop strategic recommendations based on data analysis and support business in strategic planning.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication : Present findings & actionable insights to cross functional teams and lead effective collaboration to implement relevant recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement : Master variety of tools and software platforms and ensure implementation of best practices in analytics. Lead changes for lean efficient process the team.
  • Develop analytical capabilities within the E-commerce through tools development and coaching : Pro-active support of the e-commerce Commercial Team team on the newest and best data and analytics methodologies.

Wie ben jij

  • Master’s degree in business, management or applied economics.
  • 5 to 7 years of proven experience.
  • Experience in retail is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze large and complex datasets, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Financial Acumen : Good understanding of financial principles.
  • Data Analysis Tools : Proficiency in using data analysis software and tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data in a clear and concise manner, in English and French and/or Dutch.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes to improve performance.
  • Business Acumen : Understanding of the business environment, market dynamics, and customer behavior relevant to the industry.
  • Team Collaboration : Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Over Delhaize
