PwC Advisory’s Management Consulting is looking for a talented senior consultant, passionate about the global energy transition, to strengthen and further develop the Power & Utilities practice, serving customers in the electricity, water and waste industries.

We are looking for a talented candidate, ready to demonstrate their competencies and close to becoming a manager in order to evolve to a broader role. For example taking full ownership of developing a strong industry focussed team, coach team members, develop long-term relationships with clients, etc.

What you’ll learn and do

As a Senior Consultant in the Power and Utilities team, you will focus on:

Power and Utilities expertise and project delivery:

• Contribute to the growth of Power & Utilities market share, in regulated and deregulated companies, dealing with energy transition companies in the broader sense.

• Support our Power & Utilities customers in their current key transformation to cope with today’s energy transition, including areas like digitalization, workforce transformation, plants and assets optimization and new product & services

• Work with PwC teams on (multiple) engagements in Power & Utilities;

• Achieve a successful performance by effectively working with the project team, learn and understand client’s organization and come to a tailored solution;

• Bring your industry expertise into projects;

• Deliver according to client’s expectations

Power and Utilities service offering and practice building:

• Play an active role in business development by identifying new opportunities for existing and new clients.

• Participate in workshops to develop innovative service offerings, based on your industry knowledge and client experiences;

• Contribute to thought leadership and creation of commercial materials;

• Represent PwC and the P&U practice at important marketing events or seminars;

Who you are

• Master’s degree in economics, engineering, business administration or management sciences or equivalent experience

• At least two years of relevant consulting experience

• Industry expertise and broad knowledge of the issues and opportunities in Power & Utilities

• Broad functional expertise allowing you to connect with our other teams of experts

• Strong interest in networking and business development

• Excellent presentation and communication skills

• Team player mentality and collaborative

• Fluent in English, Dutch and French

• Keen to give PwC clients the best possible experience in their customer journey
