Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar information security role
  • Information security knowledge in cloud-based hosting platforms (AWS, Azure), architectures and technologies such as networking, server infrastructure, operating systems (Windows, Linux), web applications, databases, containerization and enterprise IT
  • Knowledge of tools and automation, continuous integration pipelines and other means that enable to easily consume security services
  • Working knowledge of at least one information security framework such as ISO27001, OWASP, SOC 2, NIST
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication, problem structuring and solving skills
  • Fluency in the English language

What You’ll Do

You will promote and improve the secure development lifecycle and DevSecOps standards and guidelines.

You will work to continually improve the security posture of client-facing applications ensuring risks are identified and appropriately mitigated. You’ll support client security assessments and internal and external compliance activities (e.g. audits) while maintaining and enhancing the client-facing security documentation and processes. You will provide reporting on security compliance, incidents, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs). Also, you’ll be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of information security solutions in accordance with the information security strategy.

Who You’ll Work With

You will be based in our Brussels or Lisbon office as part of McKinsey Transformation. You’ll be an active member of the product and technology team.

McKinsey Transformation helps clients change their trajectories through holistic interventions in performance, capabilities, and health. Such transformations use a range of proprietary and enterprise-grade SaaS solutions that have served more than 1000 clients to date.

You will work directly with our product engineering team and also our clients and central teams on a range of information security activities such as data protection governance, risk and compliance, client assurance, vulnerability management, risk assessments and incident response.
