A day in the life of a Portofolio Manager

Your main duties will be:

• Responsible for managing a portfolio of projects and services
• Allocates resources according to need, defines work packages, reviews deliverables, and ensures quality control, risk analysis as well as daily management and follow-up
• Leads problem resolution
• Participates in working groups and progress meetings
• Manages portfolio planning and resources
• Reports progress, risks and potential changes in scope to relevant stakeholders
• Assesses change requests and coordinates change management
• Ensures that the deliverables fulfil the business requirements of the portfolio
• Oversees quality assurance and user acceptance testing
• Provides effective leadership for the different project teams, ensuring that project managers and team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience

If you have

• Press/journalistic experience in the field of EU institutions
• minimum of 9 years of experience
• Portfolio, project, service and/or quality management
• Knowledge of management standards , methodologies and reporting methods
• Usage of widely used portfolio and project management tools.
• Focus on the user/customer
• English: Understanding (C1), Speaking (C1), Writing (C1)
