Founded in 2019 by a team of seasoned cell therapy experts, convEyXO is a Belgian Biotech which is advancing a Therapeutic Portfolio targeting Inflammation and Age-related diseases, built on our proprietary Technology Platform that harnesses convEyXO’s unique exosomes enhanced by loading indication-specific miRNAs to amplify the exosomes’ anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties

As a Biotech, our loaded exosomes hold strong potential across a range of degenerative and inflammatory diseases. We’re also advancing collaborations with Biotech and Pharma partners to expand our pipeline.

As a Deeptech, our Technology Platform addresses key challenges in exosomes’ industrialization. This has resulted in a unique platform that combines breakthrough manufacturing (Exo-Harvest) and loading (XomeXBio) technologies. To ensure the growth of convEyXO, we are looking for

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (M/F)

With experience in managing multiple developments and external scientific collaborations. A Senior Project Manager at convEyXO plays a vital role in overseeing projects related to the research, development, and application of EVs. This position emphasizes managing third-party partnerships and key collaborations, utilizing preferred Project Management methodologies (PMP, Prince 2, Agile ...) and ensuring effective project management and progression.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You are the main point of contact for internal employees and key collaborations which are a cornerstone in convEyXO therapeutic and technology platform strategy.

You may be travelling occasionally to meet external collaborators

Project Planning and Execution:

• On behalf of convEyXO and its affiliates, you are involved in the design, the budget, the implementation and execution of project plans according to agreed deadlines and within budget enabling the development of innovating Exosome-based developments.
• You facilitate Agile methodologies to enhance team collaboration and project delivery.
• Third-Party Partner Management:
• You are the main point of contact for key collaborations which are a cornerstone in convEyXO therapeutic and technology platform strategy.
• You manage relationships with third-party partners, suppliers, and vendors involved in projects.
• You coordinate collaborations, ensuring clear communication and aligning project objectives with internal and external stakeholders.

Consolidation, Reporting and Risk Management:

• You develop and maintain consolidated project dashboards and reports, providing insights on project progress, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• You communicate project status and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
• You will also be involved in reporting to government bodies for publicly funded projects
• You identify potential project risks and develop with internal and external stakeholders mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project timelines and deliverables.

Documentation and Compliance:

• You support preparations for regulatory submissions and inspections when necessary.
• You ensure proper documentation of project processes, decisions, and changes in compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

PROFILE

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
• You have 5 years of project management experience in the biotech industry (CRO, CDMO, ...), with specific experience in cell-based assay, cell culture and EVs preferred.
• You are certified in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI-ACP, PMP, Prince 2). Certification in Agile methodologies is a plus.
• You have strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• You have holistic / transversal vision
• You have strong Customer/Partner Communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders and reaching decision
• You are autonomous with Excellent Team Spirit and flexible and proactive
• You have good knowledge of PM toolbox (Gantt, MSProject, risk management, budgeting, etc…)
• PMI or Prince2 certification is a plus
• You are fluent in English both written and spoken.
