JUNIOR SERVICE ENGINEER FOR OUR BENELUX ENTITY

Natus Medical Incorporated, leading provider of healthcare products used for the screening, detection, treatment, monitoring and tracking of common medical ailments in newborn care, hearing disorders, neurological dysfunction, epilepsy, sleep disorders, and balance and mobility disorders, is looking for a Junior Service Engineer (m/f) for its Belgian entity.

The job vacancy is for a permanent full time position (40h a week from Monday to Friday), to be filled as soon as possible.

Job Description

Our Belgian entity OSG bv, based in Kontich is looking for a junior IT technician for service activities on devices for the monitoring of neurological disorders in the Benelux area. You work from our office based in Kontich or join other service engineers at the customer’s site occasionally when required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

With the Service team and alongside the sales team, for our public customers (hospitals):

  • The hot-line for our customers (technical service)
  • The installation of medical devices (installation of equipment and of the software, IT configurations and calibrations)
  • The yearly calibration and maintenance at the customer’s location
  • The recording / reporting of service activities in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • The management of your metrology tools

Traveling is expected: Within the Benelux area (Belgium 90%, rest in Netherlands & Luxembourg).

Qualifications

  • Previous experience on field service activities is not required
  • Bachelor degree + 3 years of College / University with electronic or IT knowledge
  • Good knowledge on IT topics (Microsoft Windows 7, 10 OS, and network topics). You like to learn and improve your knowledge on these topics, in order to help the customers with IT issues, as all of our products are IT related.
  • Service-minded, strong motivation, very good communication with customers and other members of the team.
  • Highly organized : autonomous and self-driven, proactive and in control of administrative work, including service reports and reporting on customer queries.
  • Good professional Dutch and English level (written, spoken) is required to be able to communicate within the company. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Ability to travel within the Benelux: valid drivers license.
