SIBELGA, RELAYING THE ENERGY!

Sibelga manages the gas and electricity distribution networks in Brussels. Our 1,000 employees work every day to guarantee the energy supply for the 500,000 households and businesses in Brussels. WHICH DEPARTMENT ARE YOU JOINING?

The IT & Business Transformation (ITBT) department supports all of Sibelga’s business activities. It enables them to be efficient and to keep evolving. The department ensures that Sibelga is equipped with an autonomous IT system in line with evolving needs and technologies.

The ITBT department is divided into three service units. One of these units, Competence Centres & Transversal Solutions, manages the processes and applications that support the management of many departments, including Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, Logistics and Communications. The WDMA service (Workplace, Document Management & Automation) is part of this unit and manages the systems that support document management (Storage, searching and sharing of electronic information), introduces more efficient ways of working combined with innovative technologies (collaboration tools, electronic meeting rooms, Teams, etc.) and manages the robotics that can automate user activities.

Today, we are looking for a passionate Project Manager to support the WDMA team in managing all kinds of digitalisation projects.

YOUR JOB

As Project Manager WDMA, you will assume the following responsibilities

You define the project plan (PMP) with scope & deliverables, schedule, resources and project governance (standards, methods, processes and tools); if necessary, you coordinate the drafting of RFIs and RFPs prior to the project
You identify and manage the risks and problems related to the project; you identify the changes, analyse their impact and work out the actions to be taken
You take care of the allocation of the tasks and activities to the members of the project team; you manage the human and technical resource needs; you apply the methods, processes and tools as defined in the project plan; you manage the end-to-end process according to the PMLC and SDLC; you ensure that the project and the new functionalities go correctly into production, guaranteeing the availability of the existing services and the coherence with the new services
You keep the overview and keep your project team focused and motivated at all times.
You give regular updates on the progress of the project (sponsor, SteerCo, ...)
You ensure the transfer of project knowledge with a view to continuity for all parties impacted by the project; You ensure the follow-up and maintenance of the deployed solutions during the "post-go-live" period

YOUR PROFILE

Master’s degree in Information Technology, other relevant degrees or equivalent experience
PM certification (PMI or Prince 2) is required
At least 4-5 years of experience in project management
Knowledge of project management tools, such as Planview or MS Project
You have experience with digitalisation projects and are well aware of the latest trends in Microsoft Modern Workplace (Office 365, SharePoint Online & Teams)
Knowledge of the utility sector is an asset
You have a perfect command of Dutch or French and a good knowledge of the other language. You have a command of technical English within your field of expertise
You are customer-oriented and you keep the different internal and external contacts of the project up to date at regular intervals
You have professional organisational skills and great accuracy, and keep your administration up to date
You have excellent editorial and communication skills
Core competencies and attitudes: sense of responsibility, customer orientation, accuracy, transparency, team player and respectful towards others
