GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager EMEA, the Specialist Payroll & Benefits EMEA will be responsible for the payroll management of 15 countries of EMEA, follow up on the benefits administration for those 15 EMEA countries as well as benefits administration of our Belgian employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- You ensure seamless payroll administration and guarantee precise execution of payments (international pay):
- Administer and follow-up on payroll for 15 EMEA countries
- Implement and adjust payroll elements according to legislation
- Provide support to HRBPs with any special payroll calculation (termination, sickness, retirement, etc…) + payroll execution as required
- Maintain EMEA payroll procedures and overviews
- Address and manage all payroll related questions coming from Finance, employees, HRBPs
- Follow-up on all benefits within EMEA + HQ:
- Responsible for affiliations, terminations, updates to employees’ data, etc. For EMEA and Brussels HQ insured benefits programs
- Verify monthly contributions and invoices for EMEA & HQ
- Support mapping & inventory exercise of EMEA Benefits
- Follow up on administration of different allowances, ie. housing allowance, schooling allowance, etc
- Support regional Comp&Ben on benefits renewals.
Potential Comp&Ben support (for upgrading of the role):
- Support participation in annual compensation Surveys
- Follow up on international mobility cases; immigration & relocation
Provide statutory & management reporting:
- Absence management within EMEA: make sure entitlement is correct based on local legislation, reporting is correctly done through payroll and myProtime absences management system is up-to-date.
- Contribute to other projects and assignments of the HR department, as well as the further automation of HR processes and the optimisation of personnel administration.
- Relocation support coordination
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equalized through experience
Experience and knowledge:
- Minimum 3 years HR experience with payroll/comp & ben administration
- Knowledge of Belgium employment legislation is an asset
- Languages: fluent in English, Dutch or French. Any other European language is an asset.
- PC Literate: advanced knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel), knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
