SENIOR MANAGER QUALITY CONTROL JSC BEERSE (f/m/x) Job Description Janssen is currently looking for a senior manager Quality Control Analytical Chemistry at the Beerse site in Belgium. This pharmaceutical division of Johnson & Johnson is dedicated to addressing and solving some of the most important unmet medical needs of our time in oncology, immunology, dermatology and many more fields. The Beerse Quality Control lab supports various business units of Beerse Commercial and Clinical Supply Chain. The QC department Analytical Chemistry is responsible for testing finished products and excipients. In addition this lab also performs cleaning and process validation testing as well as stability testing. The Senior QC Manager Analytical Chemistry reports to the Director Quality Control Beerse. Job Responsibilities Your tasks as Sr Mgr QC will include, among others: You will lead a team of about 65 professionals and technicians ensuring reliable QC testing in support of the Beerse Commercial, Clinical supply chain and ad hoc J&J customers within the global network. You ensure that all quality systems are timely and properly executed such that internal, customer service and Health Authority expectations are met. You manage key performance indicators to drive improvements and customer satisfaction. You act as a spokesperson for the various processes within the lab during inspections by health authorities. You develop cost control initiatives. You attract, hire, develop and mentor talent. Qualifications About the candidate You have master degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or a related field of study. You have 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry of which at least 5 years as a people leader in a management role. You have knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation, cGMP regulations and guidelines You are able to motivate people and make progress in complex situations You are an excellent communicator; You have the ability to build a network and create win-win solutions; You have excellent influencing and change management skills; You speak and write English fluently.
