Strategy Manager

You will be part of the Strategy & Portfolio team, responsible for strategy and facilitating the various Value Streams & the overall Portfolio of Telenet.

You will work closely with Telenet’s senior management and report to the “Strategy & Portfolio” lead of “RES/SOHO & Portfolio.” The broad scope of this team encompasses the business lines (Connectivity & Entertainment) of the Telenet, BASE & Tadaam brands for the Residential & SOHO segments. It’s an extremely fast-paced environment where you must be comfortable with a rapidly changing context and ambiguity.

Your tasks as Strategy Manager

• You will develop the Value Stream & Portfolio vision and translate it into concrete business strategies or transformation programs.
• You will set the strategic agenda and priorities by identifying, analyzing, and advising on issues that help the executive management make informed decisions for the future.
• You will analyze existing strategies and propose alternatives where needed. You will challenge business strategy based on external positioning and (international) market analysis.
• You will support the long-term business planning cycle, including translating long-term trends and strategic themes into a business plan, in close collaboration with business leaders.
• You will lead and/or initiate strategic projects to foster strategic thinking, coordination of activities, and stakeholder management.

Our ideal Strategy Manager…

… has a strategic background in a large company or experience as a strategy consultant for larger businesses.

• 5-10 years of experience.
• You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proactive and pragmatic – able to prioritize projects and agendas.
• Experience with financial modeling is a plus.
• High personal credibility & a bridge-builder attitude.
