Job Purpose

Responsible for proactively detecting and mitigating risks, by avoiding selection of suppliers with poor quality standards, and performing efficient risk assessments.

Ensure food safety, legality and prevention of food fraud.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier approval and monitoring
  • Work together the Sourcing and Hedging function in :
  • improving supplier approval process, supporting the selection of right supplier
  • optimizing sourced goods through value engineering
  • supplier support/development: co-creation and supplier performance
  • Responsible to define and ensure right quality of raw materials, traded items and packaging in specifications to meet the current legislations and regulations
  • SQ analysis and supplier risk evaluation
  • Planning and performing supplier audits, follow up on results and improvements
  • Supplier performance improvements (non conformances, audit results, etc)
  • Supplier specifications, Quality and Food safety parameters
  • Responsible for an accurate, relevant and up to date HACCP and VACCP raw materials, packaging materials and traded items
  • Develop, update and keep control plans relevant and financially efficient
  • Proactively handling and communicating the quality block list to stakeholders (sourcing, IBP, etc)
  • Handling supplier claims
  • Releasing of raw materials
Supplier communication
  • Communicating legal changes to affected suppliers
  • Communicating supplier performance to sourcing
  • Actively participate in Business review meetings

Education

Skill, knowledge and experience
  • Master Degree in Bio-Engineering / food science and technology
Experience & Knowledge
  • 3y relevant experience in Food industry
  • Experience in Food safety and quality management systems.
  • Experience in performing audits
Language & Communication Skills

Fluent in English
