In order to reinforce our team in Brussels or in Antwerp, we are looking for a Tax Technology Reporting Senior Expert.

What you’ll learn and do

As a specialist with expertise in technology and accounting or tax compliance, you will – together with a team of qualified professionals – be involved in a variety of both client-facing and internal projects such as:

• define and deployment of multiple-territory accounting platforms

• set up and improve tax, accounting and administrative processes in a digital and sustainable manner

• taking initiatives to improve and automate business processes by using data analytics, ETL and visualisation tools

• helping to design and roll out new service offerings for the finance departments of our clients

• define and implement solutions for optimising financial and tax-related reporting

• providing ERP compliance advice, reviews and improvements

You also constantly keep an eye out for possible issues and opportunities that are relevant for your clients. You will work in close cooperation with colleagues from our Tax, Audit and Consulting departments.

Who you are

You have:

• a bachelor/master degree in economics, business and/or IT

• at least five years of relevant experience

• a strong interest in IT and preferably also knowledge of international GAAP (IFRS/US GAAP)

• knowledge of and experience with leveraging both IT solutions and business improvements; you understand technical problems and solutions in relation to the current and future business environment

• a broad knowledge of at least one major ERP system (ideally Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or F&O) and a good knowledge of other financial systems and reporting tools

• experience in project management and change management; you are able to manage comprehensive change initiatives across all core components: people, process and technology

• a problem-solving mentality with strong documentation, presentation and analytical skills

• a goal-oriented mentality and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment

• a team-player attitude and outstanding written and verbal communication skills and you are committed, flexible, accurate and eager to learn

• a fluent command of English and Dutch or French

• experience with agile, scrum, design thinking,... methodologies are a plus
