Function:

(Nearly) graduated and captivated by analysis and IT? For a whole year, this paid traineeship will allow you to work on projects, develop a broad network and discover your strengths. All with a personal mentor. The perfect launching pad to a job as a functional analyst.

What will you do specifically?

Together with your fellow trainees you will take off on an exciting year full of discoveries. You will have a taste of different positions within various domains of our extensive IT department, take a critical look at our work processes and IT systems, work together daily with seasoned experts (analysts, project managers and business architects) and sink your teeth into challenging projects. This will give you the opportunity to develop a broad network within Colruyt Group. At any moment, you will get the appropriate coaching!

This is your journey

• Month 1 - You will immerse yourself in Colruyt Group and our corporate culture. You will gain insight into the entire supply chain through a focused retail and logistics internship. We will zoom in on our IT-department and the role it has in store for you as an analyst.
• Month 2 - You will be introduced to our processes and systems and receive training in project methodology and analysis techniques.
• Month 3 - During an in-depth internship, you will get a specific analysis assignment within the context of stores or logistics. A first opportunity to sharpen your analytical skills.
• Month 4 - Under the guidance of experienced analysts you will work on a specific analysis project in a small group. You will learn to apply the project process and the analysis techniques you have mastered in practice.
• Month 5 - 12 - You gain insight in the different domains that hold analytical challenges within Colruyt Group and based on your talents, preference and ambition you will participate in determining in which domain you will start working. There you will work closely with an experienced analyst on an ongoing project. Step by step, you will master the different aspects of the job: from stakeholder management to analysis!

After this traineeship, you will become a permanent member of our project teams.

If possible your traineeship will take place at our headquarters in Halle. The internships will take place near your home.

Profile:

• Knowledge and experience -You have a master’s or bachelor’s degree. Furthermore, you are eager to start!
• Analytical capacity - You are enthusiastic about pursuing an analytical job after your paid traineeship. That you can dispose of the required analytical insights for this is obvious.
• Communication -You enjoy working as a part of a team and you will work closely with several departments and colleagues. Thanks to your smooth communication style, you will rapidly develop a network.
• Languages - You write and speak excellent Dutch and you communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
