Farmaline, the online pharmacy for Belgium, is the largest and leading online pharmacy in our country. Next to that, we are in the top 10 of e-commerce companies in Belgium.

Since our foundation in 2008, we have been operating from our office in Tongeren.

Farmaline is part of Shop Apotheke Europe, which in turn is active in the broader European E-commerce sector with multiple websites.

We are always looking for talented and motivated people to join our team.

For our office in Tongeren, we are looking for a young graduate who’s interested in a paid Traineeship in category management (m/f/d), who is passionate about Online Marketing and who wants to broaden t skills in a data driven, enthusiastic and dynamic E-commerce company.

What do you think about our proposition?

We will learn you all about product assortments, pricing, merchandising, analysing, … etc., and in return you will contribute your share to enable the growth of our business and our international teams.

Your tasks:

• Manage and optimize existing assortments and identify new potential assortments for our Belgian online shop.

• Plan and coordinate Product, Pricing and Merchandising for marketing activities in close alignment with Country Management, Marketing, Procurement and Media Services.

• Support the team with market insights for strategic country development.

• Identify new sources of supply and work closely together with the procurement department.

• Optimize existing processes and maximize our customer’s shopping experience through broader product assortment, strategic pricing and assortment availability.

• Analyse and create reports and act upon the relevance for our KPIs.

Your profile:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, marketing, or equivalent degree.

• Fluent in Dutch. Good knowledge of French and English, written and spoken. Knowledge of German is a bonus.

• Knowledge about the Belgian pharmaceutical market and/or beauty industry is a plus.

• Strategic mindset with strong analytical, numerical and excel skills.
