Jouw missie

As part of the operational marketing department, the Pricing Manager’s role is to optimize pricing and increase our revenue. He will analyse sales performance, market data, customer willingness to pay, and work with the Product specialist and Data analyst to propose improvements and implement changes in pricing.
He will report to the Operational Market Manager

Main responsibilities :

  • Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring single out optimization opportunities in sales and accuracy in all pricing matters.
  • Manage total pricing procedure (price increase, updates and evolution plan and strategy)
  • Perform partnering with purchasing, product specialist, financial controllers and sales departments to ensure an integrated profit-maximizing approach to the market.
  • Conduct field research (competition watch for similar products in the industry, in order to remain competitive) and cost revisions.
  • Maintain and regularly update pricing list and history database.
  • Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness.
  • Define new business procedures, stimulate implementation or maintenance of standardize pricing system and product catalogue.
  • Use statistical models to forecast the potential impact of various pricing strategies.
  • Lead a small team of pricing officers.


Jouw profiel

  • University Degree/Masters in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in a similar pricing management position
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies in a B2B environment
  • Familiar with multiple sales models (CAPEX-based, subscription-based, ...)
  • Strong analytical skills, able to manage large sets of data in Excel and Power BI
  • Hands-on, customer-oriented, autonomous and proactive
  • Experience in the environmental sector is an asset
  • Fluent in English, French and Dutch.
