DESCRIPTION


The Value Proposition Design Expert is responsible for the design and the development of new value propositions for the retail insurance market, with the aim of stimulating sustainable growth and on-going income and increasing customer satisfaction.

The Value Proposition Design Expert shall, as member of the Customer department, offer every market opportunity for supporting value propositions and co-operating closely with the managements of P&C and Distribution. This position is about improving, simplifying and digitalizing value propositions that are coherent for our various BOAR/IARD products in the retail market and for our various distribution channels (incl. partnerships).

Most important responsibilities:

  • Making segmented, but coherent value propositions to customers to contribute to a superior customer experience and to support sustainable growth, including promoting innovation
  • Contributing to the development of a strategic vision for specific insurance areas in collaboration with the managements of P&C, Distribution and Customer

These responsibilities also include:

  • Performing market and competition observation in order to identify emerging trends (evolution of customers, new products & services, shifts of competitors)
  • Product & services: give input about relevant characteristics for LoBs (e.g. expected guarantees, supplementary services) and propose bundling approach for product & guarantees
  • Price-setting (within limits of LoBs): Market price presentation to customers (e.g. bundling) and setting up model for allocating discounts to customers
  • Promotion: Positioning of AXA solutions across channels
  • Place: Ensure that sales & claims experience is handy for customers / brokers / partners
QUALIFICATIONS


PROFILE

  • Master’s degree with 5 years’ experience in a comparable position
  • By nature curious, eager-to-learn and capable of taking initiative. Knowledge of P&C products is a plus.
  • Excellent skills in the area of project management and capable of working with strict deadlines for multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytic skills and capable of communicating clearly and succinctly with important stakeholders
  • Able to propose 360 ° customer-driven solutions
  • Digitally proficient and experienced in the Design Thinking approach and/or the Agile project mode
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English
  • Excellent in both oral and written communications.
  • A true team-player with the passion to book progress with a team
