For one of our customers in the logistics sector in Brussels & Vlaams Brabant, we are looking for a Warehouse manager (NL-FR-EN).

  • Purpose of the role:

- The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the operational functioning of the depot and the deliveries in order to insure an excellent operational organization.

- Manages the depot and takes into account the lowest possible costs and optimum quality.

- Determines the key performance indicators and succeeds them.

- proposes improvements to improve the quality of current procedures or to optimize costs.

- Coaches team leaders to motivate them and thus reach top objectives.

- Reports to the Logistics Director.

  • Education & Experience:

· Bachelor in an economic or engineer direction

· 3 years work experience in a similar environment

· Good knowledge of the MS Office applications.

· Good control of Excel or Access for analyses is a plus.

· Good communicative skills,

· Very strong in leading, coaching and motivating a team.

· Proactive and responsible.

· Work on Saturday when the service requires it.

  • Results and activities:

Operational management of the department in order to realize an operational excellent organization.

· Insuring the good operational operation.

· Managing the leave planning of the direct employees (Team Leaders) and teams.

· Follow-up cooperation with the subcontractors.

· Determining contractual agreements for new possible partners.

Coaching and managing all employees in order to create motivated and productive employees.

· Organize weekly consultation with Team Leaders.

· Quality of the meeting with the different teams organize.

· Support the Team Leader projects.

· Hold performance and evaluation interviews with all employees.

· Signal training needs.

· Managing customer focus and qualitative objectives.

Search for process improvements that can achieve quality improvement or cost optimization

· Preparation of an annual operational plan based on the vision of the company

· Together with the Team Leaders to perform regular critical analyses of the processes with the aim of determining continuous improvements.

· Thinking about and elaborating your own improvement proposals
