KOMONO is looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to join our HQ to assist the Quality & Purchasing Manager in supporting & ensuring the products are up to our quality standards. Our ideal candidate (hopefully you!) will have an equal passion for quality assurance and planning. As Quality Control Assistant, you will be reporting to the Quality & Purchasing Manager. You are a born multitasker with strong prioritisation skills. A keen eye for detail will be crucial to ensure smooth operations and meet standard requirements. You enjoy working in a multicultural and teamoriented environment. You have a “No task too big or too small” attitude, like to take initiative and are not afraid of taking on challenges.
Your responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and perform quality control inspections on shipments ready for transport.
- Document, report inconsistencies and follow up on reworks when necessary.
- Prioritization and escalation of issues in a timely manner.
- Help in maintaining and further improving QC instructions for continuous improvement. Your initiatives help to achieve our quality objectives on product and company level.
- Request, check and file test reports on incoming production batches. - Partnering and support other colleagues in various teams.
- Possibility to grow and lead improvement projects on quality and procurement.
Your skills & experiences:
- You have an amazing eye for detail, easily spotting inconsistencies based on technical requirements.
- You are a logical thinker and a problem solver.
- You are highly organised, proactive with strong analytical skills.
- You can roll up your sleeves and get stuff done, pulling together the right people and coordinating tasks.
- You work well in a team and equally can operate autonomously with personal accountability for given targets and tasks.
- You’re a reliable and communicative colleague with high integrity and ethical attitude.
- You have strong English written and verbal skills.
- You feel comfortable working in a fast-paced fashion SME environment.
- You are flexible and have eagerness to learn.
- This is an entry level position with possibility to grow. Previous experience in quality control is a plus.
- You have documents allowing you to work in Belgium.
