JUNIOR TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

Function

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the technical support in the full sales process and execution of DCIM solutions, Ruckus LAN & WLAN solutions, as well as technical innovation

As a Junior Technical Consultant, you work closely with business consultants and project managers of Connectivity, Floor Management, and Infrastructure to support them in the domain of DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) and Ruckus LAN & WLAN.
  • You support the analysis of the client’s IT environment on site if necessary and present the right solution with the focus on innovation and improvement.
  • You assist in the preparation of offers in consultation with Back Office and Presales teams.
  • You support the technicians in the execution of the installation/implementation of the DCIM and LAN/WLAN solution.
  • You are responsible for configuration, troubleshooting and follow-up of the installed solutions.
  • You develop tools and scripts to facilitate and to improve daily businesses.
  • You investigate existing monitoring tools and its features and pricing models in close collaboration with the department Business Management Solutions.
  • You keep track of new evolution and trends in the market regarding new technologies, product evolution, tools… and you keep on continuous learning of the network concepts.
Profile
  • You have an Engineering degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent by experience.
  • You are computer literate and you are passionate about IT.
  • You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel/VBA and PowerPoint; Visio and knowledge of databases (e.g. SQL), scripting (e.g. Python), AutoCAD, is a plus.
  • You are proactive and eager to learn.
  • You pay attention to details and you are solution oriented.
  • You are stress resistant and flexible; you continue to act effectively in situations with increased work pressure.
  • You work well independently and in group.
  • You communicate fluently in English and Dutch or French; you are willing to improve the other language.
  • You are in possession of a valid driving license B.
