For a company active in the medical sector and located in Zaventem, Hays is looking for an Accountant/Financial Analyst.

As Financial Analyst, you are responsible for the monthly, quarterly & yearly closing checks, as well as the leading of the cost controlling and the ownership in the quarterly reporting tasks. You support and prepare the annual budget and the quarterly reforecasting cycles; and you are actively involved different ad-hoc projects. Thanks to your experience as accountant you understand the mechanisms of accounting and you’re able to act as a business partner between the shared service center and the local entity and between finance & non-finance departments. You report directly to the Financial Controller.

You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and have at least 3 years’ experience in an accounting role (GL Accountant). You speak English and Dutch fluently, Excel has no secrets for you and you have experience with SAPand US GAAP. You are autonomous, proactive, dynamic and have good communication skills.
