As the GEA family is growing, we are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Kontich. The Management Accountant will be responsible for the day to day operation of the finance and administration department and will support different business controllers.

Reporting into our Belgium Finance Director, your day-to-day work life will involve:

  • Monitor financial statements to ensure accuracy

  • Supporting Accounts Payable processes

  • Guide and follow up shared service center

  • Review payment runs, request manual payments

  • Ensure compliance of VAT

  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures

  • Purchase Orders creation, modification whenever required

  • Preparation and submission of weekly reports: cash flow, OI, sales

  • Preparation and submission of ad hoc reports as required by Division Controlling

  • Support budget and forecast process

  • Process improvement

  • Preparation of adhoc reports etc. for monthly management meetings

  • Other accounting duties as required

Your profile and qualifications:

  • Holding relevant accounting degree

  • 2 years plus experience in a similar role

  • Excellent PC and Spreadsheet skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Good organizational skills

  • Able to work independently and in team

  • Strong drive to learn and to develop
