Freelance Senior Accounting Specialistfor a temporary two-year assignment in Mechelen.

Functieomschrijving

As Senior Accounting Specialist you will...

support the back office team in managing consistent & optimal accounting activities that fulfill requirements of the organisation.
ensure correct daily/closing accounting activities and high-quality financial data for optimal decision-making.
streamline, monitor and align month end closing steps accurately and completely.
closely work together with IT in order to improve our processes.
be responsible for specific accounting transactions for specific small entities as well as for group requirements and supports other departments (accounting related).

Profile

Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or similar
+5 years of experience in a similar position
Outstanding, up-to-date knowledge of accounting rules: mastering booking and postings, debit and credit to the monthly as well as annual close + knowledge of small entities.
In possession of great presentation, communication (fluently English), analytical skills (expert user in Microsoft tools and SAP)
Real team player with an initiative taking attitude.
