Function

Our General Purchasing team is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant with a good command of French and English to strengthen its Braine-l’Alleud team.

This team is in charge of managing and ensuring the procurement of indirect purchases for various departments spread over two sites in Belgium in compliance with our purchasing policy, procedures and specifications for a competitive total cost.

The role encompasses planning, organization, execution and control of administrative support activities related to the activity of the General Purchasing Dept.

YOUR JOB

- Follow-up and relaunch of orders to suppliers (from the sending of the order to the invoice reconciliation)

- Management of internal customer price requests from the "Quotation" mailbox

- Price request from suppliers (RFI, RFQ)

- Administration and improvement of the IT tools of the department (Sharepoint, Eone, Avanteam).

- Preparation of monthly and annual indicators for the various activities of the department

- General administration of the department: supplies orders, filing, archiving

Profile

- You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience

- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks

- Positive attitude, sense of responsibility and reliability

- Assertive communication with colleagues, internal customers and suppliers

- Teamwork and willingness to help colleagues

- Initiative / creativity, critical thinking

- Good command of the Office 365 suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

- Very good knowledge of Excel (Formulas, Pivot table, charts, etc...)

- Database administration and development (e.g. Sharepoint)

- Willingness to train and/or adapt to new tools

- Professional experience in the industry is an asset

-French: C2 with good spelling and writing skills.

- English: B1 minimum - Very good written level and comfortable in expression and oral comprehension
