Our client is a human size Trust company that has been operating in Luxembourg for more than 20 years and is member of the OEC. Today, the company counts with over 1200 highly qualified and multilingual workforce worldwide and is able to provide a global service to their clients via their network of local offices, Luxembourg’s office being the European center for funds and corporate services. AsAssociate Director (H/F/X), your responsabilities are :

  • Responsible for the successful management of a team of about 15 people ensuring a professional service is provided to clients and intermediaries in terms of accounting, corporate, tax and VAT
  • Ensure budgetary and performance targets are achieved
  • Assist with the planning, drafting and implementing of a client servicing strategy and activities consistent with overall strategic aims, KPI’s as defined for Financial, Management, Risk or Client acquisitions
  • Attend and lead client meetings, either on or off site; act as the privileged contact with clients
  • Liaise with professional advisors to ensure the Group delivers both a proficient and added value service; this may from time to time require travel
  • Develop and enhance long term relationships with clients, their advisers, intermediaries and other introducers of work
  • Effectively manage and accurately price new business enquiries, ensuring the resources and services provided by the Group are fully explained
  • Develop, enhance and retain existing client base, advisers, intermediaries and other introducers of work, providing a value added service and a high standard of client care
  • Develop an ability to lead, inspire and motivate the team to sustain the Group’s unique stakeholder culture
  • Act as a manager on the board of Luxembourg entities, attend board meetings, contributing to board papers and reports
  • Be sensitive to risk management including client, business and regulatory risks

For this position, your qualifications are :

  • Holding at least a BTS in accounting/management/taxation, DUT, DECF or Bachelor in Accounting with a minimum of 12 years proven experience in managing a team and working within the trust and company environment at a senior level
  • Beside French and a high level of English both verbal and written, other languages will be advantageous
  • High level of technicality in Accounting, Tax and Real Estate
  • Ability to take responsibility and initiatives, create solutions, display assertiveness and decisiveness, undertake crisis management, work under pressure, wave technical challenges and respect deadlines
  • Responsible, accountable and able to manage, motivate and supervise a large team of accountants
