Associate Director Market Access & Real-World Evidence

We are looking for experienced and driven candidates seeking to advance their career and join our team to help our clients improve their clinical, scientific and commercial results. You will work in a leading healthcare consulting company of over 50,000 employees in more than 100 countries with a broad range of healthcare information, technology and service offerings, and providing excellent opportunities for career development. As part of our team, you will lead and manage the generation of insights and solutions with a tangible impact on improving real-world patient outcomes. Your work will impact decision-making in various health care systems on treatment innovations, care provision and access.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team of modelers and real-world evidence specialists in the design, the development, and the delivery of large and complex projects – both local and global – in different therapeutic areas, ensuring high-quality, on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Design, implement and manage outcomes research projects including but not limited to retrospective database analyses, chart review and economic models
  • Drive business development by consistently delivering high-quality proposals, technical reports, and providing rigorous review of client deliverables.
  • Build relationships with Pharma, Biotechnology and MedTech clients by generating and responding to new business opportunities and maintaining close client relationships.
  • Publish scientific work in journals, represents the team at professional meetings and internal cross-functional teams and initiatives
  • Oversee and manage internal timelines and financial performance of projects
  • Participate to team recruitment activities
Who you are:

  • You have a degree in science, preferably health economics, epidemiology or mathematics, statistics, or another relevant discipline; an advanced degree is desirable.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience conducting outcomes research, health economics research, health technology assessment or epidemiologic studies.
  • You have experience with cost-effectiveness and budget impact modelling using decision-modelling approaches such as decision tree and Markov models.
  • You have knowledge of reimbursement processes and evidence requirements to inform access in a European country, preferably in Belgium
  • You have project and team management experience and capabilities, coupled with an analytic mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • You are focused, goal-oriented, able to think and act independently and strategically
  • You are a communicative and persuasive person who values building strong relationships with colleagues and clients and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You demonstrate scientific leadership, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications based on real world data studies and/or economic modelling.
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch and/or French, verbal and written.
