Tosoh Corporation is part of a Japanese chemical and specialty products and materials group that comprises over 130 companies worldwide and a multiethnic workforce of more than 12,000 people. Tosoh Europe N.V is a biotechnology-oriented research company which fulfills the role of marketing Tosoh’s clinical diagnostic systems and related products such as diagnostic reagents. These self-developed and highly technological instruments are sold and distributed to the medical sector through the various sales agencies across Europe. Tosoh therefore offers a strong customer service and customer support to their customers. From the headquarters in Tessenderlo all customer related activities across the EMEA area are supported and optimized. In light of their further growth and professionalization we are looking for a B2B Marketing Communications Manager.

Functie

Main Responsibilities

In this new function you are responsible for developing multi-channel marketing campaigns that will increase market share and sales growth in a cost effective way. You will focus on acquiring new customers by satisfying the customer information needs at all steps of the customer journey. You can consequently position the Tosoh brand competitively in the diagnostic market and create maximum awareness and interest in the products and solutions tailored to the customer needs.

  • Define and execute the marcom strategy, select and manage suppliers in order to defend the current market position and explore new niches
  • Accelerate Tosoh’s digital and social presence, in collaboration with digital experts
  • Design, execute and monitor cost effective multi-channel marketing campaigns (with the support of external agencies)
  • Improve campaign effectiveness – define and constantly monitor relevant KPIs
  • Manage and create media and content for omnichannel use to create maximum desire at targeted audiences and to attract new customers
  • Support multi-media advertising and organization of corporate events and fairs
  • Ensure content and communication is compliant with diagnostic regulations across EMEA, as well as Tosoh brand guidelines and internal policies
  • Efficiently create customer segments and develop and execute tailored omnichannel communication based on permanently enhanced CRM data
  • Constantly improve competitiveness – research customer needs and monitor customer satisfaction, loyalty and advocacy
  • Conduct market research to optimize marketing messages and brand positioning
  • Develop users and KOLs into loyal advocates recommending Tosoh in social networks and customer success stories
  • Implement and optimize Google Analytics or similar tools
  • Provide insightful and relevant reports to stakeholders
  • Provide a realistic marketing budget – constantly optimize cost & resources.
  • Report to the Senior Marketing Manager

Functie eisen

Profile

  • Master degree in Life Sciences or Marketing
  • 5 years experience in multi-channel marketing communications – traditional, digital, mobile, social – in a high tech or scientific B2B market
  • Experience in the diagnostic market – compliance with diagnostic laws and regulations is a pre-requisite
  • Up to date with 21st century marketing best practices, channels, technology
  • Motivate and inspire people outside direct reporting lines
  • Excellent English (French, Dutch, and/or German language is an asset)
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of time to the Belgium HQ in Tessenderlo and/ or to external events/ congresses
