The role

Atlas Copco Compressor Technique has decided to invest in a new state of the art IT platform, SAP HANA, to run the operations of the 3 main distribution centers in Belgium, USA and China. The platform is now running in the distribution center in US since end of 2019 and during October 2021 the distribution center in China will go live.

We are now looking for a Business Analyst to support the financial set-up in our system of the future and at the same time assist to safeguard the daily operations. This position reports to the CT Logistics Business Controller.

You will mainly focus on the Airpower Service center processes but also cover the logistic processes in Compressor Technique Business Area in general.

You will enjoy this challenge if you are "hands on", you have an interest in finance logistics processes, Distribution Center controlling and working with new technologies.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Consist Of

Support to the SAP implementation project in the finance area:

• Assist in mapping all finance processes and defining the business requirements
• Define best practices
• Prepare “clean” data for the implementation
• Assure alignment between the 3 DCs
• Participate in the testing, training and data migration and validation
  

Support the Distribution center in Antwerp in its daily operations:

• Assist in month, quarter and year end closing of the Airpower Service Center reporting entity within the deadlines set and be the contact person to our internal accounting and service provider in Brno
• Assist the Airpower Service Center management team with ad-hoc analyses of the Service Center’s performance, mainly in the areas of transport cost evolution, functional cost evolution and stock evolution
• Develop and maintain management reports for the distribution center in Airpower and CT Logistics overall
  

What we expect of you?

Experience Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience from accounting and/or business control
• Thorough knowledge of the Atlas Copco Accounting to Reporting and Finance to Manage processes.
• Knowledge of a Distribution Center is a plus
• Ability to work in a complex and fast-moving business environment
  

Educational Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Fluency in English is a must
