The main companies:

• QSR Platform, headquartered in Brussels, is a joint-venture with Burger King Corporation and holds the Master Franchise and Development rights for Burger King in Italy and operates Burger King restaurants in Poland.
• Through Burger Brands Belgium, headquartered in Wilrijk, the Group is Master Franchisee of Burger King in Belgium and Luxembourg and owns the Quick brand in these countries.
• NORDSEE, headquartered in Bremerhaven Germany, is the leading European fish restaurant chain.
• O’Tacos is a digital native halal restaurant chain, headquartered in Paris, serving ‘Original French Tacos’ throughout France and Benelux with a clear international expansion plan.

Job description

The Business Analyst will report directly to the Group Finance Manager and work closely with the central finance management team and local teams. Your main responsibilities include group financial management, reporting and business intelligence. You will balance multiple projects in various countries, while partnering with the various operating groups. Being local with the team allows you to be the central contact person and coordinate with the local teams to support the central decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly executive reports with key performance metrics and liaise with various departments to create and produce management reporting packages
• Create ad hoc analyses and presentations to drive business strategy and increase the value of the company
• Support quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and long-term planning for each business unit
• Maintain and enhance efficiency of internal financial reporting processes
• Support the growth of the Group (organically, through financing and/or M&A)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Finance ; Charted Financial Analyst is a plus
• Relevant experience in a finance function (4 years)
• Financial due diligence background is greatly appreciated
• Flexibility for business travel (10-20%) in Europe
• Communicates fluently in English, written and orally. French, Italian, Dutch and German are appreciated
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong communicator and collaborator, with the ability to create targeted presentations
• Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated and willing to take on multiple responsibilities at once
• Good people skills, which make you easily approachable and trustworthy.
• Good empathy skills so you can relate to the different project roles and assess the critically of raised questions and issues.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines; handle and prioritise simultaneous requests.
• Experience of working in a multinational, flexible environment would be beneficial.
