We are looking for a dynamic Business Controller to join our EMEA organization. As the "economic conscience" of the company, you can make a significant impact on our international business and play a vital role in supporting the management team, acting as a proactive business partner. You will report to the Head of Regional Finance and collaborate closely with the regional Managing Director of Europe. While based in Mortsel, you will interact regularly with international stakeholders across Europe and other regions with focus on Germany entity (DACH region).

  • Serve as a trusted business partner by providing accurate management reports and analyses (revenue, gross margin, RECO, working capital evolution, etc.) to support decision-making and help achieve plans and objectives.
  • Manage planning and forecasting activities while providing financial insights to the Sales & Services organizations, aiding in decision-making, and driving improved regional results.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Manager to proactively handle Credit and Collections risks from a business perspective, given the diverse range of countries in the Direct Export region.
  • Analyze and advise management on Revenue Forecast, Order Intake, and Order Book evolution to mitigate business risks through proactive and corrective measures.
  • Identify opportunities for further profitability improvement and support the implementation of improvement programs in the region.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for branches in your area.
  • Master’s degree in finance.
  • Experience in controlling (within a similar industrial environment is a big plus).
  • Excellent analytical skills, particularly in variance analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of planning and execution.
  • Process and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Strong numerical aptitude with a high regard for data quality.
  • Strong integrity and business sense.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with HQ management and regional MD.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German language is a bonus.
