Business Developer – International markets (M/F/X)

As part of the Kingspan Insulated Panels division, one of the six global divisions of the Group, Kingspan Door Components SA/NV is producing and marketing an unprecedented range of insulated panels of the highest quality for sectional garage and industrial doors and for perimeter fencing from its own facilities located in Leuze-en-Hainaut, Belgium, to both the residential and industrial markets across EMEA and beyond. Kingspan Door Components (KDC) is growing through outstanding quality, reliable service and innovation and is looking for a dynamic Business Developer to boost the perimeter fencing segment and support the current continuous growth. Position overview :

As a Business Developer in the fencing industry, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence and fostering long-term partnerships. You will manage and grow the customer base in your assigned region, achieving sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. This position requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong sales track record and a deep understanding of the fencing market. You will focus first on developing Benelux and France before exploring new geographies across EMEA in a second step.

Your responsibilities :

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and establish new relationships with potential prospects in the fencing industry to expand the company’s footprint.
  • Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with existing customers in your region, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive sales turnover and meet or even exceed targets and budgets set for your geographical region.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and present quotations to customers, ensuring a professional approach in collaboration with the internal customer service (CS) team.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Actively manage and grow the customer base, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the customer service and commercial teams to ensure seamless customer interactions and order management.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints in collaboration with the quality department, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Build strong internal networks within Kingspan, identifying opportunities for cross-selling or joint projects with other divisions.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Continuously monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights to the commercial and product teams.
  • Report on market evolution within the fencing business, identifying gaps in the current product range and opportunities for innovation.
  • Actively contribute to improving the product portfolio by sharing detailed market information and customer feedback to support strategic decision-making.

Strategic Planning & Account Management

  • Create detailed visit reports and strategic account plans to document customer interactions and sales initiatives.
  • Monitor and optimize profitability for each account, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning process by identifying new market opportunities and developing tailored approaches to capture them.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven sales track record, including successfully building relationships and engaging decision-makers in the DMU (Decision-Making Unit).
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating with professional buyers and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in wholesale business, with strong skills in consultative selling and relationship management.
  • Practical experience or a strong interest in the fencing industry or home / garden improvement sector with a solid understanding of its market dynamics.

Skills & Competencies

  • Education: bachelor degree in business administration, sales & marketing, economics, international trade or engineering, or equivalent by experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the fencing, construction materials sector or home improvement sector.
  • Languages: Fluency in French, Dutch and English, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a keen market sense.
