The Transversal Business Development role reports directly to the CDSO (member of the management committee), to create new dynamics (from knowledge sharing to action & impact), drive accountability & ownership and reflect the strategic importance of successful and smooth execution of Impact24. As a member of the CDSO steering committee, this person will act as the right hand of the CDSO, staying current with every aspect of Impact24 execution, providing critical, high quality and current data and evidence of Impact24 progress and results. The CDSO will measure its success by the satisfaction of OPCO’s and Partners but also on the tangible P & L contribution of important transversal business initiatives.

Your function
  • Drive ownership & accountability - IMPACT 24 PROGRESS REPORT
  • Understands the totality of the Impact24 strategic plan and the individual priorities of each OPCO and BDO to create momentum behind all transversal business initiatives and to drive a strong action and results led approach that creates important accountability across the Group.
  • Tracks and delivers comprehensive Impact24 progress reports on Impact24 implementation. Works in collaboration with all relevant executives to monitor, capture and progress all transversal business initiatives considering the special interests of different stakeholders.
  • Brings together all aspects of the plan into a cohesive strategic story that drives momentum and engagement and provides critical evidence of Impact24 delivery for internal (to MCO, EXCO and Board) and external audiences.
  • Create new dynamics with focus on action & impact - IMPACT24 COMMUNITY
  • Creates and drives a strong action oriented Impact24 community which is strongly rooted in successful collaboration and knowledge sharing across different entities reflecting the true entrepreneurial spirit of Impact24.
  • Identifies and extracts success stories, failures to learn from and evidence of Impact24 in action, acting as a primary source for communications output (Valley, AMF/APD, Academy, Workplace…).
  • Facilitates sharing of best practices across the Group – creates and leads discussions to brainstorm, exchange among experts, challenge and prioritise – reflecting the success of the Impact24 development sounding board.
  • SATISFACTION PARTNERS/OPCO’s
  • Services the MD Europe and MD Asia, CEO and Chairman on specific requests.
  • Builds and leverages existing relationships with senior executives, adding value in the implementation of Impact24 and forging strong relationships built on our ability to create momentum and make things happen.
  • Monitors satisfaction levels over time and puts in place the right mechanisms to capture feedback in a way that reinforces the CDSO’s ethos of ownership and accountability at every level and in every interaction.
  • P & L AND KPI’S
  • Takes the lead in tracking and reporting on all P & L (eg Protection, platforms, agency, health) and KPI’s (eg for CX, Banca) against all transversal business initiatives.
  • Works in collaboration with the CDSO and BDO’s to capture the value added of the whole team and the contribution to the success of Impact24. Challenges progress and puts learnings to work (both successes and failures!).
  • DIAGNOSTICS/BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
  • Maintains a strong overview of all Ageas entities strategic goals and plans, sharing important knowledge of near-term and long-term trends that could shape the horizon, and making recommendations to the BDO’s and CDSO.
  • Coordinates in one place all Business Intelligence gathered from OPCOs, Partners, Sounding Board/Impact24 community in the context in the Impact24 in order to serve all CC requests and needs and avoid multiple contacts for OPCO.
  • HR/PROJECT SUPPORT

Acts as a project manager on ad hoc requests, identified business development projects (group initiatives or projects defined by the CDSO and BDO’s) or supports short term project support assignments that join the CDSO team to accelerate progress in transversal initiatives.

Your profile
  • You possess a master’s degree and have 7-10 years of relevant working experience
  • You possess knowledge of the Ageas Group and deep understanding of Impact24, the key Financial and Non-financial drivers of Impact24.
  • You are passionate about company culture, driver of change, people person, diplomate and well-connected
  • You have a sound understanding of Strategy concepts, are a conceptual thinker and are capable to structure complex problems and solutions.
  • You can explain complex issues in simple terms and possess strong analytical, synthesizing (helicopter view) and presentation skills
  • You possess cultural awareness and can work with people with different backgrounds.
  • You possess strong communication, networking, and organisation skills
