Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting a Hands-on Data Project Lead to join an innovative company. Our client is a leader in their sector and is located in Wetteren.

The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

  • You’re responsible for coordinating and organizing the set-up of process flows to automate data gathering and implementation of master data concepts together with the data warehouse specialists. You maintain data quality by keeping an eye on the process flows;
  • ·ou quickly develop a good understanding of the needs of the business and objectives by talking and listening to business owners. You come to an agreement on these business needs with all stakeholders involved and work closely with the IT-department;
  • You coordinate the feedback loop of transactional and master data errors in the sources systems to ensure reported data quality;
  • Create analytical models in Power BI from the ground up. By using cleansing and transformation actions, you can extract data from the data warehouse, external data sources, flat files, … to integrate this into a Power BI model. You create ideas for visual representations, define calculations and measures and configure security;
  • You provide key users with training and assistance to guarantee a thorough understanding of the Power BI data models and flows. You also maintain technical documentation to back up the data models;
  • You create data models in the SAP BW4Hana data warehouse;
  • You collaborate with other business users, data warehouse specialists and functional ERP resources to define business requirements and transform them into a data warehouse model that will be used to create reports to meet the business owners’ needs.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

  • You have similar experience as a Business Analyst or PM;
  • You’re extensively experienced with Power BI, preferably in a manufacturing context. It’s an advantage if you have knowledge of SAP BW and/or SAP BW4Hana;
  • Having functional knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP will be an advantage in this role;
  • You communicate fluently in English;
  • You have good understanding of data modeling concepts.
