Job Description

The Category Manager will manage a portfolio of indirect spend goods and services (IT, HR, Fleet, Marketing...)

  • You define the category strategy and you optimize existing procurement processes
  • You source new products and new suppliers
  • You negotatiate at competitive terms & conditions
  • You closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at different levels
  • You seek continuous improvement opportunities that will increase efficiency and productivity
  • You obtain in-depth knowledge of your market and keep up-to-date with new tendencies

The Successful Applicant

  • You obtained a Master’s Degree (eg Applied Economics)
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position - indirect spend procurement for a multisite company
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and you’re a strong negotiator
  • You are able to work independently and you have a proactive mindset
  • You work well-organized and you pay attention to details
  • You are experienced in making in-depth analysis and the creation of reports
