Many LUKOIL-stations have a shop and at some stations it is even a real local store: a Carrefour Express. Why do we choose to do so? Because we like to make things easy for you. A nice cup of coffee, the newspaper, a snack for the afternoon or your groceries for the evening ... You can find it all in our shops. At LUKOIL you can do so much more than just filling up.

To make our shop concept even stronger, we are currently looking for a motivated colleague to strengthen the team.

Responsibilities:

You understand what the customer wants and combine this with our vision to achieve the best possible positioning of the products within your categories in our shops. This includes:

• Developing the strategy and objective for your product categories within our store in terms of product mix, pricing, promotion and merchandising.
• Ensuring that both sales and profitability are maximized per product category.
• Negotiating assortment and promotional strategies with both existing and new potential suppliers
• Developing key partnerships with brand partners and implements them in stores.
• Simplifying and optimizing processes to support sales in the shops.
• Find and negotiate logistics solutions that fit within our store concept and strategy.
• You detect new opportunities and future concepts during expos, competition visits,...

Profile:

• Higher education in economics or equivalent through experience.
• You have experience in retail. Experience specifically within food retail is definitely an important asset.
• You are precise and have very good analytical skills.
• Your strong interest in the field of category management combined with your alertness will make you easily detect opportunities.
• In general you have a very good knowledge of office applications. Specifically in excel you have an advanced knowledge (vlookup, pivot tables, ...)
• Even under pressure you remain very result oriented while respecting timings and meeting deadlines.
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English, French and Dutch.
• You are a team player who can also work autonomously with the necessary sense of initiative.
• Not only do you communicate fluently with your own team, but also with other departments or third parties.
