Role Overview

As the Chief Revenue Officer, you will oversee all revenue-generating functions, including sales, marketing, and customer success. Your primary responsibility will be to align and optimize these teams to achieve our ambitious growth targets. This strategic leadership role requires a deep understanding of the solar energy market, SaaS business models, and a proven track record of scaling revenue in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with Virto Solar’s business objectives.
  • Align sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives to create a seamless customer journey and maximize revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set growth goals and forecast revenue.

2. Sales Leadership

  • Oversee the sales team, ensuring effective pipeline management and deal closure strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities and customer segments.
  • Drive sales performance through coaching, tools, and incentive programs.

3. Marketing Alignment

  • Lead the marketing team in creating data-driven campaigns that generate quality leads and build brand awareness.
  • Oversee product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and demand generation initiatives.
  • Ensure tight alignment between sales and marketing efforts for maximum efficiency.

4. Customer Success Optimization

  • Ensure the customer success team delivers an exceptional post-sale experience, fostering long-term relationships and maximizing customer lifetime value.
  • Establish frameworks for customer onboarding, support, and renewal strategies.

5. Data-Driven Insights

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across sales, marketing, and customer success to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM and analytics tools to track trends, measure ROI, and refine strategies.

6. Team Leadership and Culture

  • Build and mentor a high-performing, collaborative revenue team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity across all revenue functions.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years in senior sales, marketing, or revenue leadership roles, preferably within SaaS or solar energy industries.
  • Proven success in scaling revenue, entering new markets, and driving cross-functional team alignment.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, CLV, etc.) and solar industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
