Our client, an international Real Estate Asset Manager, is looking for a Commercial Asset Manager due to its recent expansion to Belgium.

Description

You will be reporting to our client’s Head of Asset Management and whilst in this position of Commercial Asset Manager, you and the Property management team on site will be the point of contact for all its tenants and stakeholders for its buildings in Belgium.

Together with the team, you will ensure that the processes function optimally within the set frameworks. You will be critical and continuously working on improvement, in which co-operation with both colleagues (including international) and tenants is key.

Your responsibilities

Manage contractual framework agreements across the portfolio to drive efficiency and allow swift upsizing of the portfolio;

You will monitor pre-leasing period, external valuations and asset KPI’s.

You will manage the relationship with tenants to optimize and drive value.

You will be part of the negotiations of investments and developments.

You will strive to secure high valuations and make properties as attractive as possible to potential tenants.

You will manage the asset budget, reporting and business plan.

You will foster and maintain positive client relationships.

You will study market trends to maximize profits, identify investment opportunities and minimize risk.

Your profile

You have a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in relevant fields.

You have at least 5 years professional experience at a similar position and/or in a similar company and understand asset management.

Experience of leading contractual negotiations, taking into account commercial, legal and technical considerations.

You have a strategic mind and want to develop new innovative solutions.

You are good at networking and know how to develop it.

You are detail oriented and highly organized.

You have knowledge in urbanism, construction laws, legal statement, taxes and duties applied to real estate.

You are fluent in French, English and Dutch will be considered as a strong asset.
