Mission

Our Crew Scheduling Department is looking for a data/business analyst. With our ongoing project to change SN’s Crew Scheduling Tool to Jeppesen technology, our business analyst will support the implementation of strategic initiatives for improved efficiency, data quality and crew productivity.

TEMPORARY MISSION OF 12 MONTHS

Objectives of this Role

  • Define specifications and data analysis requirements for optimized Crew Scheduling
  • Perform data quality checks pre & post operations
  • Define reporting and alerting requirements with our scheduling team, steering the schedulers decisions
  • Help design, document and maintain system processes
  • Support with technical issues with our Swiss Partner & Jeppesen and make recommendations to scheduling team
  • Communicate key insights and findings to Scheduling Team & crews via scorecards & KPIs
  • Constantly be on the look-out for ways of improving monitoring, discovering issues and delivering better value to the Scheduling team & our flying crews
  • Support the further implementation of the Jeppesen Crew Management System

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other departments (i.e.,Flight OPS, Training, Cabin, Finance, Protection and HR) to develop necessary analysis and documentation, communicating effectively and efficiently with operations & Management.
  • Proactively develop, refine and manage KPIs to make clear decision to optimize crew costs
  • Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
  • Respond to questions and concerns from operations managers with supporting research and recommendations
  • Present and analysis to key partners
  • Support Head of Crew Scheduling in steering daily operations

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 3+ years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Analytical abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • knowledge of EASA FT/DT regulation is a plus
  • Past experiences with automated crew management systems is a plus
  • English mandatory + French or Dutch
